Ascension Day

Here are some photos from our Ascension Day picnic. We always try to eat outside so we can look up at the clouds as we read the story of Christ ascending into heaven. It was an extremely windy day and we were continuously showered with "seed helicopters" from the maple tree. But the sun was shining and it felt good to have a leisurely lunch out-of-doors.
