Sis turned eleven this month. The Grandparents came over for ice cream on her actual birthday. Then she had a 70's-themed party with some friends a few days later. She planned the party all on her own: complete with cake decorations, invitaions, menu and games. Of course, she had some assistance from Mom to carry out her plans...This was the first year of our "rotating birthday party plan." So sister got a party with friends; Samuel didn't. We still celebrated - he got presents from family and picked CiCi's pizza for dinner. But at Sister's party there was more than a little bit of "sour grapes" going on. Oh well, next year will be all his!
